OLL 2020 Season Announcement

With uncertainty about when we can get on the fields, Oakville Little League has made the difficult decision to cancel our 2020 season. We are not giving up on the chance for baseball this summer but it is clear we can’t host a typical season. With this in mind we are refunding all 2020 registration fees.
Every season of Oakville Little League is special. From house league to tournaments to our Challenger division we aim to fill the summer with as much baseball as possible and deliver the very best sporting experience. COVID has made this impossible for 2020. Our goal will be to create a shortened-season
version of a baseball program and as soon as we get the official go ahead to resume baseball activities, we will let you know what that will be.

This decision was not taken lightly but we decided it is in the best interests of our parents, players, coaches, officials, and fans to remove any uncertainty. We look forward to better times and wish everyone good health.

Please review this FAQ for more information.
Q: Does this mean there will be no Oakville Little League baseball this
A: Maybe. We really hope not and are 100% planning to offer some baseball but
must wait for community and health officials to give us the go ahead first.

Q: Can you keep my registration fees for future credit?
A: No. There are a number of factors which make it very difficult for the League to
track and manage credits. It is a cleaner process if we simply refund 2020
registrations in full.

Q. How will the refunds be processed and when will I get it?
A. We are processing close to 900 refunds and hope to have all of them done by
the end of April. Payments made through the online registration system will be
returned to the credit card used to pay registration fees. Other payments will be
refunded by cheque or, where possible, back to the credit card used to make
the payment.

Q: Does this apply to all OLLB activities?
A: Yes. In addition to our house league, we have cancelled Blue Jay Day, picture
day, summer camps, the Adam Fedoruk tournament, the Canada Day Classic,
Challenger and Whitecaps programs.

Q: Are other leagues in our District shut down?
A: Yes. Little League teams in our District are all postponing baseball for the time
