Return to Play Update

On May 20, the Government of Ontario released a three-step roadmap to safely reopen the province, including the gradual phasing in of outdoor activities from gatherings of up to 10 people in “Step 1” and up to 25 people participating in outdoor sports and leagues in “Step 2.”

We are anxious to integrate the government’s approach into our own Return to Play strategy and COVID-19 safety protocols.

To finalize this task, we are in consultation with the Town of Oakville to get an understanding and clarification of what specific requirements must be met before players will be allowed back on the field. The Town, in turn, is in the process of seeking further clarity from the Region of Halton and Province  so that they can provide guidance to not only our league but also other local sports organizations who are seeking the same information.

Once we receive clear direction from the Town, we will provide you with our plans for all of divisions from Learn to Play through Senior via email as well as updates on our website and our social media platforms.

We continue to focus on our goal to get the kids back on the fields as soon as possible with safety as our top priority.
