Oakville Little League completed an All-Star team manager application process for the 10U, 12U and 14U divisions over the past month. It is our pleasure to announce the following Whitecap managers for the next three seasons:
- 10U All-Star – Brennan Carson
- 12U All-Star – Denis Boivin
- 14U All-Star – Nick Rigato
Brennan Carson has been involved as a house league coach and a Whitecaps team manager for several years. He has been team manager of the 7U, 8U. 9U, 10U and 11U Whitecaps along with coaching in our house league program. Brennan has a passion for youth baseball with two simple objectives: have fun and get better. We look forward to him leading the 10U team over the next three seasons.
Denis Boivin has been involved with OLL since 2010, coaching every age group in our house league program. He also coached the 12U Whitecaps in 2015 and was team manager of the 11U team in 2016. Denis played elite baseball until the age of 21 in Quebec. He brings a significant level of experience and enthusiasm to the game. We look forward to Denis leading the 12U team for the next three years.
Nick Rigato has been involved with OLL since 2001. He has coached at the All-Star level since 2007 along with coaching in our house league program. Nick’s 14U (Junior) team won the 2015 Canadian Junior Little League Championship. His team also was crowned Provincial Champions in 2014, 2015, 2017 and 2019. Nick brings a high degree of enthusiasm to the team, and we look forward to him leading the 14U team for the next three years.
Oakville Little League expects to return to a full Whitecaps program in 2022 at the 8U Select, 9U Select, 10U All-Star, 11U Select, 12U All-Star, 14U Select, 14U All-Star and 16U All-Star levels.
We look forward to providing those players who would like to play at a higher level of competition an opportunity to try out in the spring of 2022. The league will be seeking interest from our membership in managing a team at the select levels later this fall, which will also follow the same application process.
