Blue Jays Day, Challenger volunteers and preseason evaluations

That brief blast of Spring on Sunday has us all excited for the coming season. We hope you are too!!

Oakville Little League will once again be offering a Blue Jays Day event in 2022.

It is a great opportunity for teams to rally together and attend a game along with many others from across the league. It is also a fun chance to spend a day with the family watching the Jays take on the Minnesota Twins on Sunday June 5th.

The league has reserved 300 tickets in the 200 level (outfield), which will be sold on a first-come basis for $35 each.

This year’s event is a little earlier than in the past, and, as a result, our deadline for ordering tickets has been moved up to May 22. Please complete the order form and drop it off in our mailbox at the clubhouse, located at 425 Cornwall Road, along with payment as soon as possible.

Your tickets will be sent out to you electronically in advance of the event. The league will communicate when they have been sent so please check your email and spam mail to ensure delivery.

If you have any additional questions, please contact our Registrar at or call us at 905-827-1831.

Volunteers needed for our Challenger Program

Oakville Little League is an organization designed to build good citizens through the game of baseball. The league relies on a devoted group of adult volunteers to help ensure that its remains structured and runs smoothly.

Our league runs a Challenger division, which has grown over the past five years. We are looking for adult volunteers and coaches to help us provide a great experience for these players throughout the summer. You will find this a very rewarding experience working with children who want to learn and grow within the sport. The Challenger program runs on Sundays from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. ET at Cornwall Park. No experience is required to become a volunteer, and most opportunities require little or no training.

If you are interested in getting involved and making a difference for the young athletes in this division, please send an email:

Preseason evaluation sessions

Registered players in divisions from Major T-Ball (7U) to Junior (14U) as well as new players in Senior should have received an email from OLL regarding a time for an evaluation in the coming weeks.

If you have not, please check your inbox and spam folders. If you can’t still find one, please email John Mooney at:
