In our first stream, we offer our Mental Math Program where we teach Mental Arithmetic to children between the ages of 4-13 years using an abacus. This program helps in developing the cognitive skills in children which makes them more attentive, confident, and focused in the class. Besides this, the children are also able to perform most of the calculations mentally without using calculators. At Megamind, mental math classes are held in person once a week for 2 hours.
In our second stream, we customize individual student learning plans and provide Ontario curriculum-based tutoring in all subjects from JK-Grade 12. We offer one-on-one, semi-private (2 students) as well as group tutoring (4 students max) sessions. Our well-qualified tutors provide personalized attention, which improves grades, increases motivation to learn at the student’s own pace.
For the Summer, we also offer academic summer camps, focusing on Math, Science, French and English.
Currently, we are offering these classes in both in-person and select online formats.
