COVID-19 update for 2021
In this fluid and uncertain environment related to Covid-19 we want to provide you with our plans for the 2021 season.
Our Board and league volunteers are working on the assumption that we will have a baseball season in 2021. During this process, our focus will always remain on ensuring that we maintain a safe environment for players, coaches, umpires, and volunteers. To achieve this, we recognize that we may need to implement changes and restrictions based on direction received from various levels of government as well as Little League Canada in response to state of the Covid-19. This may include for example, the need to form clusters / cohorts with a limited number of teams & registered players in each cohort / cluster. This process will give priority to players registered on a first come first served basis as recorded in our registration system based on the date of payment.
Right now, and for the immediate future, there will be uncertainty how things will look in February / March 2021. To keep yourself informed on our evolving plans, we would encourage you to subscribe to our various social media channels Twitter, Facebook, & Instagram for the latest league news & updates. If for some reasons it becomes impossible to have a season, we will fully refund all registration fees, as we did for the 2020 season.
How to register for 2021
House League registration is completed through the SportSavvy website. Please click on the link below to register for the 2021 season:
If you were registered for the 2019 or 2020 season, please use the “Member Login” section to register for 2021 and to update information as required.
Please note: There are a number of divisions where a pre-season player evaluation will determine which section within that division a player will be placed e.g. Major T-Ball: Red vs White; and Minor, Major and Junior: AL vs NL.
To facilitate the process all registrations in those 4 divisions are initially placed in the section called “Players” pending completion of the pre-season evaluation. When registering players in those 4 divisions, the system will show you the various sections but only the “Players” section will be available for registration.

Rowan’s Law compliance
The Rowan’s Law concussion awareness rules came into effect in the Province of Ontario on July 1, 2019. After that date, sports organizations must not register athletes under 26 years of age* into a sports activity unless they, as well as their parent (for athletes under 18), provide confirmation that they have reviewed one of the Concussion Awareness Resources (see below) within the previous twelve months.
Furthermore, sports organizations must also not allow coaches, team trainers and officials to serve as a coach, team trainer or official for or in respect of the sports organization unless they provide confirmation that they have reviewed one of the Concussion Awareness Resources, every year.
Links to the documents which must be reviewed are listed below and are based on the age of the player being registered:
When registering a player in our league you will be required to confirm your compliance with the above-noted requirement through the use of a waiver declaration.
