OLL’s Emily Baxter drafted into Women’s Professional Baseball League

Oakville Little League is thrilled to celebrate the incredible achievement of Oakville Whitecaps alumnus Emily Baxter, who has been drafted by Boston in the 5th round of the brand-new Women’s Professional Baseball League.

This is an extraordinary milestone, and we could not be more proud.

Emily’s journey through Oakville Little League began in T-Ball and continued all the way to age 16. She excelled in both House League and Whitecaps programs, consistently demonstrating talent, dedication, and a love for the game.

One of the highlights of her youth career came in 2015, when she played on the Junior Whitecaps team that represented Canada at the Junior Little League World Series in Taylor, Michigan.

Emily’s accomplishments are an inspiration to our entire community. Oakville Little League is immensely proud of her success and will be cheering her on as she embarks on this exciting next chapter of her baseball career.
